Meeting Dates & Times
				The EAC's regular monthly meeting held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm at 1000 Beaver Grade Road.

Basic Responsibilities
The Moon Township EAC’s basic responsibilities are to provide independent advice and counsel to the Moon Township on environmental issues such as:
   
    - • Identifying environmental issues and recommending plans to appropriate agencies for promotion and conservations of natural resources. 
 
    - • Protecting and improving the quality of the environment within its territorial limits. 
 
    - • Making recommendations as to the possible use of open land areas of the political subdivision within its territorial limits. 
 
    - • Promoting a community environmental program. 
 
    - • Keeping an index of open areas, publicly or privately owned, for the purpose of obtaining information on the proper use of such area. 
 
    - • Advising the appropriate Township of Moon agencies, including but not limited to, the Planning Commission and Township of Moon Supervisors. 
 
    - • Assists the Township with providing opportunities of education and outreach to our residents as outlined within the NPDES Stormwater plan.

    - • Electronic Recycling Quarterly
 
	- • Contribute “Did You Know” Articles
 
	- • Participate in Earth Day at Robin Hill, this year’s environmental objectives are to encourage use of native plants and rain gardens
 
	- • Road cleanup
 
	- • Organize Annual Recycling Day 1st Saturday in June
 
	- • Work with Hollow Oak Land Trust
